Valentine’s Day Gift of Love

Supporters Send Cookies and Coffee to our troups in Iraq & Afghanistan

(SACRAMENTO) – On Friday, January 27th, the citizens of America will be sending a message of love and support to our troops serving in the war on terrorism when a shipment of approximately 2 TONS of fresh ground premium gourmet coffee and cookies departs Sacramento en route to Iraq and Afghanistan.

As Valentine’s Day approaches, Americans wanted to send our brave men and women who are serving in harms way a strong statement of support.  Move America Forward is making sure they are not forgotten.

Members of Move America Forward (website: www.MoveAmericaForward.org), a non-profit organization that supports our troops and their fight against terrorism, have sponsored the cookies and coffee being sent.  The “Cookies & Coffee for Our Troops” program matches up Move America Forward supporters who then can have their messages of support placed on each box and bag of cookies that will be delivered to our military men and women serving in the Middle East. To date Move America Forward will have shipped approximately 12 TONS of fresh ground premium coffee to our troops.

John Ubaldi, a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom will be on hand to discuss the importance of receiving this precious gift from citizens across America after having served in both Iraq & Afghanistan.
