1st Hand Accounts of Socialism
"Kosher" who grew up in Hungary calls Wednesday's show click here to listen
A Listener's letter to Rose in response to Kosher's call:
|
Dear Rose,
Thank you, thank you, thank you for putting the caller from Hungary
on the radio this morning. My husband and I just moved our family
from Manhattan to Pittsburgh a few months ago, to give our children a
better spiritual environment and education, and for reasons of
security (we lived through 9/11, my husband watched the second plane
hit) and finance. We have MANY friends in New York who emigrated to
the U.S. from socialist countries. Among these friends, a dear
girlfriend, the mother of one of my daughter's classmates in New
York, had to escape from the former Czechoslovakia and it was very
dangerous.
She had to leave her family behind. Another left Venezuela and
another also left Hungary. They are all in a state of shock and
panic watching what is happening to our government.
|
Many are making plans to leave again. It was one of these friends
who pointed out that the Obama family was dressed in red and black the night of the
election. Who would dress a little girl in a black dress on the most
joyful night of the family's life? The signal that they were sending
was NOT lost on those who are all too familiar with the colors of the
international socialist movement.
Thank you for your excellent and heroic work. I look forward to
someday meeting you in person! Things are going to get more
difficult economically in the coming months. Talk radio has been one
of the main protectors of our democracy. You are doing what the
fathers of our country intended when they set up a free press. Hang
in there and stay close to God. You are in my prayers,
Yours in His love,
A Faithful Listener

Wisconsin AG charges five with election fraud, two from ACORN
March 8, 2010
Ed Morrissey
The state of Wisconsin faced serious problems of election fraud in the 2004 election in what some of us at the time called "The Silence of the Cheese." In the aftermath of the embarrassing scandal, the state pushed hard for reforms - unsuccessfully at times, as with voter-ID laws - and raised the enforcement profile for voter fraud. Before the 2008 election, Wisconsin's Attorney General J. B. Van Hollen and Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisolm formed a special task force to combat attempts to pervert ...[more] |
